UEBR /UBCR started its missionary and evangelism activities in 1939 by missionaries from Denmark. The first church was installed at Nyantanga hill in Nyaruguru District, southern

Bringing positive change to the full development of all people through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching various teachings based on the word of God.

Promoting the well-being of Rwandans in general and Christians in particular.

Our Belief

We believe in Soul freedom (autonomy and responsibility of individuals before God)
We believe in the priesthood of all believers (every Christian has direct access to God and the ability to interpret Scripture in guidance of Holy spirit)
The Trinity of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)
The authority of the Bible as the sole rule of faith and practice.
Salvation by grace through faith alone by confession of our sins (rejecting the notion that good works are necessary for salvation)
Church is people who believe that God revealed us in Jesus Christ, guided by Holy Spirit and Holy scriptures.
UEBR practices two Ordinances: Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.
