The Men’s Ministry of the Union des Églises Baptistes au Rwanda (UEBR) is dedicated to fostering the spiritual, social, and economic growth of men within the church and the community through different ways
The ministry focuses on developing strong leaders by providing training in leadership skills, conflict resolution, and decision-making. Workshops and seminars aim to equip men with the tools to lead effectively within the church and in their communities.
Various vocational training programs are offered to help men acquire skills that enhance their employability or enable them to start their own businesses. These may include carpentry, plumbing, agriculture, and IT skills.
The ministry promotes financial literacy through workshops that cover budgeting, saving, and investment strategies. Initiatives may include establishing savings groups or cooperatives to support men in their economic endeavors.
Regular Bible study groups and discipleship programs are organized to deepen the spiritual understanding of men. These gatherings provide a platform for discussing faith-related topics and fostering accountability.
The department encourages participation in prayer meetings and spiritual retreats, allowing men to connect with God and each other. These experiences aim to strengthen their faith and commitment to serving within the church.
The Men’s Ministry often conducts workshops focused on family dynamics, parenting, and marital relationships. These sessions aim to equip men with skills to support their families effectively.
Programs may be implemented to support fathers in their roles, emphasizing the importance of positive parenting and active involvement in their children’s lives.
Established men are encouraged to mentor younger generations, fostering relationships that promote personal and professional growth. This mentorship can help young men navigate challenges and make informed decisions.
